Co-hosted with the Embassy of Sweden, this evening will explore the Swedish and Indigenous botany of Cook's first Pacific voyage, presented as part of Paradise Lost - Daniel Solander's Legacy exhibition in the museum's Tasman Light Gallery for our Encounters 2020 programming. Speakers on this panel will explore science and epistemology from the perspectives of Solander and Australian Indigenous peoples, including reflections of his time on board HMB Endeavour.
The evening will be introduced by His Excellency Ambassador Henrik Cederin, Embassy of Sweden, Canberra.
Further speakers will be announced early 2020.
